The Role
We’re looking for a high-energy Business Development Executive who thrives on outbound activity, relationship-building, and commercial impact.
You’ll be responsible for creating and developing new opportunities, owning your market, and helping shape ACTENIQ’s growth story from the ground up.
This is a dynamic, autonomous role where results, initiative, and creativity are rewarded.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Pipeline Growth
- Proactively identify and engage new prospects through LinkedIn, email, and phone outreach.
- Qualify leads and secure discovery meetings with decision-makers across key sectors.
- Understand customer pain points around asset health, power reliability, and risk, positioning Acteniq’s solutions effectively.
2. Opportunity Management
- Supporting the full sales cycle where applicable, from initial contact to proposal and close.
- Maintain structured, accurate CRM data within HubSpot, ensuring visibility and forecast accuracy.
- Collaborate with the leadership to refine messaging, campaigns, and target strategy.
3. Market & Account Development
- Build a defined prospect territory or vertical market, identifying key accounts and influencers.
- Attend events and forums to represent Acteniq and expand brand awareness.
- Capture and share customer insights to help shape future offers and market strategy.
4. Customer Engagement & Retention
- Nurture early-stage relationships to build long-term trust and account potential.
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth project handovers and great customer experiences.
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across our digital and monitoring solutions.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- 2+ years’ experience in outbound sales, business development, or technical account management.
- Track record of building and converting a sales pipeline.
- Confident communicator across multiple stakeholder levels.
- CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator proficiency (HubSpot preferred).
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and entrepreneurial.
Desirable
- Background in energy, engineering, or asset management sectors.
- Understanding of power quality, energy monitoring, or electrical infrastructure.
